“Every student brings something unique to our community, and helping them discover their strengths is at the heart of my work.”

Katelyn Woodbine

Acting Director of Girls' Boarding

BA, BEd (Secondary)

Katelyn Woodbine is an experienced educator with a background in the Arts and Secondary teaching. Holding a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary), she has worked at SCOTS PGC College since 2019 and has taught across English and the Arts during her time at the College.

For the past two years, Katelyn has served as the Head of the Languages and Arts Faculty, a role that has strengthened her understanding of student needs, staff collaboration and curriculum development. These experiences now inform her work in Girls’ Boarding, where she supports students in both their academic progress and day-to-day wellbeing.

Katelyn is deeply committed to ensuring that every student at SCOTS PGC can pursue a pathway that reflects their interests, strengths and ambitions; while also recognising and valuing the uniqueness each student brings to the College community. She values helping students explore what brings them joy and guiding them as they make choices that suit their individual strengths. Working closely with students, families and staff, she aims to create a steady and supportive environment in which girls feel comfortable, capable, connected and confident in their own identity.

Since joining SCOTS PGC, Katelyn has enjoyed the variety of opportunities that come with teaching and leadership roles and continues to focus on building positive relationships with the young people in her care. Her work is driven by a genuine belief in the importance of helping students grow with confidence as they navigate their schooling and life beyond the College.
