"We strive to build genuine connections with each of our boarders and provide an environment where they can achieve individual and community success."

Fraser Bolton

Head of Senior Boys Boarding

Fraser heads up our Senior Boys Boarding House, caring and for our young men in Years 10 to Year 12 at Hawkins House, located at the Oxenham Street campus. Fraser lives on campus with his wife, Claire and three young sons.

As a past boarding student of SCOTS PGC himself, Fraser knows firsthand what it takes to build a supportive and equally structured environment – one that enables boys to rise and face challenges, foster mateship and make the most of the opportunities on offer. He believes the right approach to providing the best boarding experience is to know each student to ensure their pastoral and academic needs can be well supported.

“Boarding is such an integral part of our College’s history and, for many students, the highlight of their schooling experience. We strive to build genuine connections with each of our boarders and provide an environment where they can achieve individual and community success, all of which is underpinned by developing authentic and supportive relationships.”

Fraser is also Head of Department for the College’s English and Language Faculty. As well as having a deep personal connection to the College as a past student, his professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature and History); Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and Boarding Certification through the Boarding Schools’ Association of the United Kingdom.
