New Measures to Support SCOTS PGC Families

SCOTS PGC College is strengthening its commitment to supporting families, announcing a freeze on Tuition Fees for all students in 2027 as part of a broader strategy to improve the long-term affordability of a SCOTS PGC education.

To provide families with greater certainty and confidence when planning for the future, the College has also committed to limiting any increase in Tuition Fees in 2028 to the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

The announcement is accompanied by a range of additional family-focused initiatives, including a significant expansion of sibling discounts. From 2027, families will receive a 100% Tuition Fee discount for their third and subsequent children enrolled at the College. The discount available to families who choose to pay their annual fees upfront will also increase.

Principal Mrs Emma Grave said the changes reflected SCOTS PGC’s commitment to listening to families and responding to the financial pressures facing many households.

“We understand that families are carefully considering every financial decision, and we want to do everything we can to support them, not only in 2027, but throughout their family’s educational journey,” Mrs Grave said.

“Freezing Tuition Fees, providing certainty around future increases and strengthening our sibling and upfront-payment discounts are practical ways we can make a SCOTS PGC education more accessible and sustainable for families.

“These changes are particularly important for families who have made a long-term commitment to our College. We want them to feel confident that we will work alongside them as their children progress through their schooling.”

The revised fee structure forms part of SCOTS PGC’s new Family Financial Planning Framework, which reshapes the way the College works with families on financial matters.

The Framework places a strong emphasis on early communication, transparency and proactive financial planning. It recognises that family circumstances can change unexpectedly and encourages families to engage in conversations with the College early, allowing us to work together to identify suitable pathways and solutions before financial pressures affect a student’s education.

“Our families are valued members of the SCOTS PGC community, and our approach should reflect that,” Mrs Grave said.

“The Family Financial Planning Framework is about helping families plan ahead with confidence while creating open, respectful and supportive relationships. When challenges arise, we want families to know that they can speak with us early and that we will work with them wherever possible.”

These changes reinforce our commitment to delivering an outstanding education while remaining responsive to the needs of families across Warwick, the Southern Downs and surrounding rural and regional communities.
