Selected in the Darling Downs 18 years Touch Football team, she recently placed 4th in the Under 18 girls 400m hurdles at the 2015 Australian Junior Championships, selected in the Australian team to compete at the Oceania Athletics Championships in 100m & 400m hurdles, competed at the National Youth Boys & Girls Sevens Championships in the ‘Queensland Red’ team and came 2nd, was selected to be a part of the Queensland Academy of Sport Emerging Womens 7s squad.

Emily has also been selected in the Tribe 7s Invitational team to tour Europe during May. Emily will compete with present Australian Womens 7s players such as Charlotte Caslick and Dominique Du Toit, former World Cup winner and Australian Womens 7s captain Rebecca Tavo, Sonia Green- former England Womens 7s captain and 4 Youth Olympic 7s players (gold medallists). The team will compete in the Amsterdam 7s and Rugby Rocks London tournaments.
