Kyle Thompson was appointed as SCOTS PGC College Principal in late 2017. As Principal of SCOTS PGC College he is working with the College community to improve the educational outcomes of all students in an environment that encourages all students to do their best, think reflectively, develop critical thinking skills, resilience, character and altruism.
Welcome to the SCOTS PGC College website. I am honoured to be the 7th Principal of SCOTS PGC College. As one of the most prominent rural independent schools in Australia, we are proud to be providing an excellent and unique educational experience for country, metropolitan and international students in a co-educational setting. SCOTS is proud of its deep history. At the same time we provide an education that equips our students to take their place in an ever changing and dynamic world.
With a diversity of offerings, SCOTS recognises that success has many faces; with strong academics, vocational streams, rich co-curricular offerings, and strong pastoral care. With the holistic education of all our students at the core of what we do at SCOTS, our Uniting Church values underpin an education that provides individual pathways beyond school, whilst also producing great people who make meaningful contributions to their communities. At SCOTS, we know our boys and girls and we work with them and their families to ensure each individual achieves their best inside and outside of our classrooms.
I encourage you to visit us in person to truly understand our College’s wonderful personality, our committed and professional staff and to meet some of our amazing students. We look forward to welcoming you into our community, where country values inspire excellence.
Kyle Thompson – Principal
" All good schools do great things academically. Great schools achieve academically whilst producing good people, with well-rounded experiences in the arts, sport, and service. People who have values and go on to make a positive contribution to their communities. I believe this is SCOTS. " Mr Kyle Thompson, Principal
